    Provides students with a foundational understanding of Chicanas and Latinas in contemporary society. Emphasis is placed on intersectional frameworks to view the historical development of gender roles in contemporary society. Includes an analysis of issues currently affecting Chicana and Latina women and the advocacy strategies used to address these issues.
