    Description
    Prepares students to perform maintenance on aircraft in the aviation maintenance industry. Covers a variety of aircraft powerplant maintenance subjects required by the Federal Aviation Administration as part of the Aviation Maintenance Technology Program. Includes inspection of aircraft engine accessories and appliances, fire detection and extinguishing systems, engine lubrication systems, fuel system, induction and airflow system, engine cooling systems, exhaust and reverser systems, propeller and inducted fan systems.
