    Description
    Prepares students with the skills and technical knowledge they need to perform maintenance on aircraft in the aviation maintenance industry. Completes general aviation maintenance subjects required by the Federal Aviation Administration for issuance of a general aviation maintenance technician certificate. Covers maintenance forms, records, and publications; mechanic privileges and limitations; aircraft material, hardware, and processes; aircraft drawings; fluid lines and fittings; cleaning and corrosion control; inspection concepts and techniques. IMPORTANT: Students are required to provide certain hand-tools at their own expense, to successfully complete the course requirements.
