    Description
    Articulates skills to understand and utilize internal and external resources to function effectively in contemporary US society. Major topics include socio-cultural forces that affect personal values, beliefs, behaviors and goal setting; decision-making strategies, time management and stress-reduction strategies; and conflict resolution methods. Strategies and skills for improving self-esteem, self-care, self-understanding, and interpersonal relationships are also introduced.
