    Provides students with an introduction to a scientific approach to the livestock industry, encompassing aspects of animal anatomy, physiology, nutrition, genetics and epidemiology. Emphasizes the origin, characteristics, adaptations, and contributions of livestock to the modern agriculture industry. Field trips may be required.
