    Description
    An introduction to economic principles that govern production, exchange, distribution and consumption in a capitalist economy. Topics include supply and demand, consumer theory, production theory, and price formation in competitive and noncompetitive markets, theory of comparative advantage and international trade. Issues including scarcity, market equilibrium, elasticity, production and cost theory, market structures, and market failure are also examined. This course includes content and experiences appropriate for students wishing to earn honors credit.
