Transferable: CSU; UC General Education: Local GE L3; Cal-GETC Area 3A C-ID: C-ID THTR 114 This course will explore an in-depth methodology of reading, analyzing, and understanding play scripts in a variety of genres and styles intended for live theatrical production. Students will investigate techniques used to determine the playwright's methods of creating the plot, themes, characters, and imagery within theatrical scripts and how theatre scripts are distinct from other forms of literature.
