- MUIVI 370 Beginning Guitar Units: 2 Hours: 36 hours LEC; 18 hours LAB Course Family: Traditional Guitar and Bass Prerequisite: None. Transferable: CSU; UC Beginning instruction on the guitar with emphasis on the fundamentals of music as well as basic guitar chord technique and accompaniment figurations.
