    MUFHL 421 Advanced Jazz Theory Units: 2 Hours: 27 hours LEC; 27 hours LAB Prerequisite: None. Advisory: MUIVI 341 Transferable: CSU; UC This course provides a continuation of jazz concepts presented in MUFHL 420. The emphasis will be advanced elements of jazz theory including harmonic, melodic and formal analysis in the jazz idiom.
