    Description
    MATH 420 Differential Equations Units: 4 Hours: 72 hours LEC Prerequisite: MATH 401 with a grade of "C" or better Advisory: MATH 402 (may be taken concurrently) Transferable: CSU; UC General Education: Local GE L2 C-ID: C-ID MATH 240 This course will cover the theory and the applications of the solutions of ordinary differential equations and systems of ordinary differential equations. The course will introduce students to various topics useful in the solution of differential equations including power series, Laplace transforms, matrices, eigenvalues and eigenvectors, and numerical methods.
