    MATH 402 Calculus III Units: 5 Hours: 90 hours LEC Prerequisite: MATH 401 with a grade of "C" or better Transferable: CSU; UC (MATH 350, 351, 400, 401 and 402 combined: maximum transfer credit of one series) General Education: Local GE L2; Cal-GETC Area 2 C-ID: C-ID MATH 230 This course extends the concepts of limits, derivatives and integrals to vector-valued functions and functions of more than one variable. Topics covered will include three-dimensional analytic geometry and vectors, partial derivatives, multiple integrals, line integrals, surface integrals, and the theorems of Green, Gauss (Divergence), and Stokes. Many applications of the calculus will be included.
