    MATH 356 Calculus for Biology and Medicine II Units: 4 Hours: 72 hours LEC Prerequisite: MATH 355 with a grade of "C" or better, or placement through the assessment process. Transferable: CSU; UC (1) MATH 351, MATH 356 and MATH 401 combined: maximum credit, 1 course; 2) MATH 350, 351, 355, 356, 400, 401, & 402 combined: maximum transfer credit of one series. ) General Education: Cal-GETC Area 2 This course covers matrix algebra with eigenvalues and eigenvectors, systems of linear equations, functions of several variables, partial derivatives, systems of differential equations, and applications to biology and medicine.
