- HUM 310 Modern Humanities Units: 3 Hours: 54 hours LEC Prerequisite: None. Transferable: CSU; UC General Education: Local GE L3; Cal-GETC Area 3B This course focuses upon Western culture in its attempt to interpret human experience and identity. The course examines basic human values as exemplified in the arts, philosophy, and history. Emphasis is on the Renaissance, the Baroque period, and the Modern World.
