    HIT 160 Supervision for the Allied Health Professional Units: 3 Hours: 54 hours LEC Prerequisite: HIT 100 and 140 with grades of "C" or better Enrollment Limitation: Enrollment is limited to those that have met the program prerequisites and have been formally accepted into the program through the application process. This course studies basic management theory and leadership principles and applies them to the healthcare setting. The principles of leadership, motivation, ethics, and decision- making are explored. The role of the health information manager in training and the budgeting process will be introduced.
