Enrollment Limitation: Enrollment is limited to those that have met the program prerequisites and have been formally accepted into the program through the application process. This course provides instruction in the basic principles of coding diseases and procedures using the current versions of the International Classification of Diseases, Clinical Modification (CM), and Procedural Coding System (PCS). Code format, conventions, sequencing, and coding guidelines will be emphasized.
