    Description
    FITNS 406 Running I Units: 1 Hours: 54 hours LAB Course Family: Cardio Fitness Prerequisite: None. Transferable: CSU; UC General Education: Local GE L7A Running I is a physical education course that is designed to instruct the student in the basic fundamentals and techniques of running. The course will concentrate on improving the physical capacity and efficiency of the body with the emphasis on development of muscular and cardiovascular endurance as influenced by such factors as body type, diet, health status, rest, and genetic potential. This course may be taken one time for credit.
