    ESLG 31 Basic English Grammar Units: 3 Hours: 54 hours LEC Prerequisite: None. This course provides English language learners with an introduction to the basics of English grammar including parts of speech, word form, word order, and the fundamental verb tenses necessary for writing. Students will learn to recognize how words function in English sentences, and be able to identify and correct basic errors.
