Transferable: CSU; UC General Education: Local GE L3; Cal-GETC Area 3B This course is an introduction to literature of writers from, but not limited to, Africa, Central and South America, Asia and the Middle East. Approached through the reading and discussion of all genres, basic elements of literary interpretation will be stressed to enhance understanding of the world view and culture of writers often not covered in other literature classes.
