    DANCE 410 Dance Composition and Production I Units: 2 Hours: 18 hours LEC; 54 hours LAB Course Family: Dance Composition and Production Prerequisite: None. Transferable: CSU; UC (* Any PE Activity courses combined: maximum credit, 4 units) This course introduces students to the elements of choreography and the creative processes of composing dances. Students assume the roles of dancer and choreographer in developing improvisation, directing, and performance skills to produce and perform original group compositions. This course culminates in a final showcase performance designed to give students an opportunity to experience a college level dance production.
