Choreography is provided on a bare bones theme and developed according to individual style, ability and personal interpretation. The history of this genre and the traditional competitive elements of Hip Hop dance are examined, as well as the role of dance in Hip Hop culture. An opportunity for Freestyle, Old Style, Poppin', Lockin', and Dance Poetry exploration is offered.
