Transferable: CSU; UC This course is a continuation of beginning ballet technique with a progression in barre, center, and across the floor exercises. Fundamentals of beginning ballet are addressed with greater emphasis on strength and coordination. Students will further develop their ballet skills, movement vocabulary, and sequence construction while advancing their knowledge of ballet history and repertory. Students will present their semester-long study of Level II ballet in a final performance. This course is recommended for students who have successfully completed Ballet I and are at a high beginner or intermediate level.
