- CSERV 2082 BAR Approved L-1 Alternative Units: 0 Prerequisite: None. This course is preparation for the Bureau of Automotive Repair (BAR) � approved Advanced Engine Performance Exam. Topics covered include Power Train Diagnosis, Computer Control Diagnostics, Ignition System Diagnostics, Fuel and Air Induction Diagnostics, Emission Control Diagnostics, and I/M Failure Diagnosis. The BAR L-1 Alternative test is administered at the end of the class.
