    CISP 356 Relational Database Design and Information Retrieval Units: 3 Hours: 54 hours LEC Prerequisite: CISP 350 with a grade of "C" or better Transferable: CSU This course is designed to serve as an advanced-level course within the Database Design certificate. The course covers advanced database concepts. Topics include: data analysis, principle data models with emphasis on the relational model, entity-relationship diagrams, logical design, data administration and normalization.
