    BUSTEC 110 Business Procedures for Professional Success Units: 3 Hours: 54 hours LEC Prerequisite: None. Advisory: BUSTEC 302 or equivalent, BUSTEC 303 and BUS 100 This course develops skills associated with the business professional, including specialized procedures in electronic workplaces. Students learn critical thinking, problem solving, teamwork, supervision skills, administrative procedures, and information-processing technologies. Specific areas include the 21st century workplace; business technology; business communication; records management; meetings, travel, and financial documents; and the business professional's career. The course emphasizes developing a work-site team through effective communications, dependability, interpreting various management responsibilities, and motivational techniques. Recommended for all management information science and business students.
