Emphasis is placed on critical thinking and effective writing techniques through analyzing written communication and composing and organizing paragraphs into effective business documents. Computer skills are needed to format business documents and search the Internet for information. Proofreading skills are stressed throughout the course. The course is recommended for all business majors during their first semester.
