Transferable: CSU; UC General Education: Local GE L3 This is a basic practice class in the expressive use of form and color in space. It uses various sculptural methods such as additive and subtractive media like clay and plaster, as well as constructive media like wood and metal. Found objects, recycled materials, light, sound, and other new media may be explored. Creative effort, development of individual expression, new ideas, and knowledge of technical processes will be stressed. Content will be developed by using both historical and contemporary approaches.
