This course is offered to students enrolled in the Ford Automotive Student Service Education Training (ASSET) program. This course covers the theory and operation of Full Hybrid Electric Vehicles (FHEV), Plug-In Hybrid Electric Vehicles (PHEV), and Battery Electric Vehicles (BEV). High voltage safety will be covered, as well as diagnosis and repair of high voltage batteries and systems. Theory, diagnosis, and repair of electric drive assemblies will also be covered.
