Additional content includes methods of critical inquiry and advocacy,theeffectiveuseofevidence,reasoning,andanintroduction to the history of rhetoric. Students analyze media, films, and both contemporary and historical speeches. Additional focus is placed on identifying fallacies in reasoning and language, testing evidence and evidence sources, advancing a reasoned position, and defending and refuting arguments.
