    Total Lecture Hours: 54 This course is a comprehensive study of Arab, Asian, African, European,Latinx/Chicano,Multiracial,andNativeAmericangroupsin theUnitedStates,focusingonsociologicalanalysesofrace,ethnicity, and racism. Students examine the cultural, political, and economic practicesandinstitutionsthatsupportorchallengeracism,racial,and ethnic inequalities, as well as historical and contemporary patterns of interaction among various racial and ethnic groups. Note: A student who receives credit for SOC 014 cannot receive credit for EGSJ 014.
