    Total Lecture Hours: 54 Thiscourseisastudyofdiversehumanpopulations,theircultural origins, diffusion and contemporary spatial expressions. Students examinethehumaninterrelationshipsbetweenfeaturesofthemodern cultural landscape and the processes that produce regional and environmental differences. Students analyze the global patterns and dynamics of such human activities as population growth, migration, territoriality, politics, religion, language, agriculture, urbanization, industrialization, and economic development.
