Selections include writings of traditional and non-traditionalAmericanauthorsthatreflecttherichanddiversecultural backgrounds that make up America's unique and complex heritage. This course includes critical analysis of representative works in all of the literary genres: the essay, short story, the novel, the slave narrative, poetry, song, and drama.
