Students analyze orally and in writing Chicano/Latino literature and apply critical theory to describe relevant events in the histories, cultures, and intellectual and literary traditions, with special focus on the lived experiences, social struggles, and contributions of Chicano/Latino Americans in the United States. Field trips(s) and/or destination event(s) may be required.
