    Total Lecture Hours: 54 This course examines the complex and dynamic relationship between communities and the United States justice system in addressing crime and conflict with an emphasis on the challenges and prospects of administering justice within a diverse multicultural population. Topics include crime prevention, restorative justice, conflictresolution,andethics.Studentslearntorecognizedifferences in culture, ethnicity, and race as well as consider how prejudice and discrimination affect relationships between community and various justice components.
