    Total Lecture Hours: 54 This course presents an overview of knowledge and skills related to providing developmentally-appropriate curriculum and environments for young children from birth to age eight. Students will use knowledge of children's development, theories of learning and development, and examples from various models of developmentally appropriate practice to plan environments and curriculum in all content areas to support children's development and learning integrated throughout indoor and outdoor settings. To comply with outside classroom regulations per SB 792, students are required to show proof of immunizations for MMR and Tdap and a recent negative TB test result. Formerly known as ECE-030.
