    Description
    Total Lecture Hours: 72 This introductory course examines the progression of development in the physical, cognitive, social, and emotional domains and identifies developmental milestones for children from conception through adolescence. Emphasis on interactions between biologicalprocessesandenvironmentalfactors.Studentswillobserve children,evaluateindividualdifferences,andanalyzecharacteristicsof developmentatvariousstagesaccordingtodevelopmentaltheories. To comply with outside classroom regulations per SB 792, students are required to show proof of immunizations for MMR and Tdap and a recent negative TB test result. This course combines the content from courses formerly known as ECE-010A and ECE-010B.
