- Total Lecture Hours: 54 This course covers the essential elements of double-entry bookkeeping practice. Topics include the basic accounting equation, uses of journals and ledgers, preparation of financial statements, adjusting and closing entries, bank account reconciliation, payroll, and inventory. Students practice skills necessary to understand and perform bookkeeping transactions in an employment setting.
