- Total Lecture Hours: 54 This course examines the origins of humans and their place in nature. Students will study the mechanisms of biological evolution, the physical form and behavior of the nonhuman primates, the fossil record of early humans, and current racial variability. The course emphasizes the interpretation of data using scientific methods and theoriesasappliedtothebiologicalandculturalevolutionofhumans.
