Transfers ToNot transferableDescriptionThis course provides the student with the basic emergency care procedures for sick and injured victims as a first responder including: cuts, abrasions, broken bones, trauma injuries, burns and respirator/cardiovascular emergencies. The course also provides an introduction to medical careers with an emphasis on emergency medical services. The course content is based on the National Standard Curriculum for Emergency Medical Responder. The course includes American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification.
