    This course is an introduction and an in-depth immersion into the art of technical theatre. Students will explore various techniques in areas such as safety precautions, stage management, stage design, scenery, props, lighting, sound, make-up, and costumes. Emphasis will be on understanding the roles, duties and responsibilities of the stage manager and running crew--prop master, dressers, sound and light operators, and technicians. Lecture, reading, projects, and practical experience.
