    Description
    This course is designed to teach beginning students the urban influences within jazz dance. The course will review the history, music, cultural changes, and evolution or urban dance. The course will help students understand that urban jazz is part of a genre of dance that requires a series of specialized movement techniques that contribute to overall fitness to improve strength, endurance, flexibility and balance.
