    Description
    This course involves an examination of the philosophy, principles, and practices of community policing as well as discussion of the responsibilities, techniques, and methods of police patrol. Emphasis is placed on strategies designed to engage and assist a community in the development and implementation of solutions to police-related problems. Operations, supervision, professionalism, ethics and leadership within the context of contemporary policing are studied.
