    Description
    This is the first of two levels of training and proficiency for the California Security Officer. The course includes laws of arrest, use of police baton, pepper spray, control and handcuffing technique. The course can be used to qualify for the following Department of Consumer Affair licenses: Powers of Arrest (Guard Card), Baton Card and Pepper Spray Card. 25% of this course has online elements and the student should have some internet skills and access. Petition to repeat intended for legally mandated certification training.
