    Prerequisite: WELD 101 with a minimum grade of C This welding course focuses on skills required to fabricate a project from an engineering drawing to the finished product. Emphasis is placed on interpreting engineering drawings, proper use of tools and equipment, math, and shop safety. WELD 151 Gas Tungsten Arc/Shielded Metal Arc Welding for Pipe Welding (CSU) Units: 3 Lecture Hours: 36 Lab Hours: 72 Outside Hours: 72 Grading Method: Letter grade or P/NP option Credit Status: Credit, degree applicable Conditions of Enrollment: Prerequisites: WLED 128 and WELD 144 or Certification in structural welding AWS D1.1 or L.A. City Certification and CTAW experience prior to enrollment.
