    Description
    CHEM 150 or CHEM 102 with a minimum grade of C in prerequisite This course is a study of microbial anatomy and physiology, classification, microbes in water, air, soil, food, sewage, and medical aspects of microbiology. It also includes the study of fundamental techniques in the growth, culture, and identification of microorganisms. Laboratory experiments are performed by students to reinforce principles of microbiology discussed in lecture.
