    This course is designed to prepare students for the California State Board of Barbering and Cosmetology licensing written exam. Students will complete the remaining 1000 hours of applied skill practices. Simulated state board exams will be administered. COSM 118 Preparation for the State Board of Barbering and Cosmetology Practical Exam (Not Transferable) Units: 1 Lecture Hours: 0 Lab Hours: 54 Outside Hours: 0 Grading Method: Pass/No Pass only Credit Status: Credit, degree applicable Conditions of Enrollment: Prerequisite: COSM 114. Students must have completed 1,000 hours. This course is designed to provide students additional preparation for the California State Board of Barbering and Cosmetology practical exam that have earned 1,000 hours. Simulated state board exams will be administered.
