- Study and performance of instrumental and vocal jazz in both solo and ensemble (including big band, choir, combos, and solo with accompaniment). Includes beginning jazz theory, improvisation, style, interpretation, performance practice, conducted performance and the development of an individual standard jazz repertoire. Repertoire may vary from semester to semester.
