    Description
    Study and performance of instrumental and vocal jazz in both solo and ensemble. This could include big band, choir, combos, and solos with accompaniment. Includes beginning jazz theory, improvisation, style, interpretation, performance practice and the development of an individual standard jazz repertoire. Repertoire may vary from semester to semester. This course is designed to meet the interests and needs of older adults/lifelong learners and is open to everyone.
