    Description
    A review of the core prerequisite skills, competencies, and concepts needed in Calculus. Intended for students who are concurrently enrolled in MATH18A, Calculus. Emphasis is placed on support for finding and applying problems relating to limits, derivatives, and integrals. This algebraic support includes operations over the real numbers; simplifying algebraic expressions and functions (including but not limited to logarithmic, trigonometric, and exponential); algebraic factoring and simplification; solving equations; and function notation. Concepts are taught through the context of preparing students to be successful in Calculus. This course is recommended for students advised to receive additional academic and concurrent support. Students are strongly encouraged to meet with an academic counselor.
