    Description
    This course provides a survey of racial-ethnic groups in the United States from an historical and sociological perspective. Exploration of racialization, assimilation, ethnocentrism, and historical and contemporary patterns of inequality with a focus on Native American, African American, Latino/a American, and Asian American populations. This course is designed to meet an ethnic studies requirement.
