- Provides prerequisites needed for entry into a Paramedic Training Program. An intensive course dealing with anatomy, physiology, pharmacology, and EKG interpretation, and their relationship in the pre-hospital environment. Current EMT certification, other applicable medical training or instructor approval is required. Two or more years of pre-hospital work experience is strongly recommended.
